Before the holidays
Hi Rebecca, our January holiday program has a Year 8 maths group. Want me to save Oliver a spot? Reply STOP to opt out.
Sound familiar?
Parents only hear from me when the invoice goes out.
Over the holidays the routine breaks, and some kids don't come back.
I'd send progress updates if I had the time to write them.
Edithly helps tutors and coaching centres keep parents in the loop. It writes term reminders, progress updates, holiday program invites and end-of-year thank-yous, sent to parents by SMS, WhatsApp or from your Gmail or Outlook email, each with a short video, one-pager, offer page or brochure in your logo and colours. Messages go to parents, not students, use only the child's first name, year level and subject, and include a way to stop.

Kim, here's how we'd help with Year 10 English
You said essay writing is the sticking point and Wednesdays after school suit. We'd start with a trial session to see where things are at, then share a plan for the term with you.
- A trial session on a Wednesday
- A plan for the term, shared with you
- Small group or one-on-one, your call

FAQ
Questions from tutors & coaching centres
Do parents have to agree to hear from me?
Yes. Send to families you teach, or parents who've asked to hear from you, like someone who scanned your QR code and ticked the box. Message parents, not students, and don't use it for strangers or bought lists. Every message includes a way to stop.
What do I need to know about each family?
A parent's first name and a mobile number or email is enough to start. Adding the child's first name, year level and subject lets each message fit that family. That's information about a child, so add only what you need and remove it when a family leaves. You add these details yourself, they're used to write your messages, and you decide what's kept. Our privacy policy has the details.
Can I use my own logo and colours?
Yes. Add your logo and colours once and every video, offer page, one-pager and brochure uses them. Emails go out from your own Gmail or Outlook.
Where does the QR code go?
Anywhere parents already look: flyers on community noticeboards, the cards you hand out at the centre, the bottom of your invoices. Scanning it opens a short form, and they get a page about their child's year level and subject, with a way to book.
Can I tell parents how their child is going?
Yes. A progress update to parents covers what you've worked on and what's next, in your words, and goes to the parent. It doesn't promise marks or results, and you decide what goes in it.
