The day of the service
Hi Leanne, Mick from Doyle Automotive. Your Mazda CX-5 is all done. Thanks for bringing it in. Here's a quick rundown of what we did. Reply STOP to opt out.
Before summer
Hi Leanne, summer's coming. Want us to check the aircon in your Mazda CX-5 before the heat hits? We've got spots next week. Reply STOP to opt out.
Six months on
Hi Leanne, your Mazda CX-5 is due for a service. It was on 62,000 km last time. Want me to book you in? Reply STOP to opt out.
Sound familiar?
Once the car drives out, I don't hear from them.
Nobody reminds them the service or the rego is due.
So they book whoever's closest or cheapest that week.
Edithly helps mechanics and auto service shops keep in touch with their own customers between services. Send service reminders, rego and pink slip heads-ups, aircon checks before summer and thank-yous by SMS, WhatsApp or email from Gmail or Outlook, each written for that customer and their car. Each message can carry a short video, a one-pager or an offer page in the workshop's own logo and colours.

Ben, here's what we'd do on your Ranger
You said it's on about 95,000 km and the brakes squeak. We'd do the logbook service and check the brakes while it's in, and call you with a price before fixing anything.
- Logbook service for your Ranger
- Brake check for that squeak
- A call with a price before any extra work

FAQ
Questions from mechanics & auto services
Do my customers have to agree to hear from me?
Yes. Send to people whose cars you've worked on, or who've asked to hear from you, like someone who scanned the code at the counter and ticked the box. Don't use it to text strangers or bought lists. Every message includes a way to stop.
What do I need to know about each customer?
A first name and a mobile number or email is enough to start. Adding the car, the last service date and the kilometres lets each reminder fit that car. You add these details yourself, they're used to write your messages, and you decide what's kept. Our privacy policy has the details.
Can I use my own logo and colours?
Yes. Add your workshop's logo and colours once and every video, offer page and one-pager uses them. Emails go out from your own Gmail or Outlook.
Where does the QR code go?
Anywhere customers already look: the front counter, your invoices, the key tag that goes back with the car. Scanning it opens a short form, and they get a page about their car, with a way to book.
Can it remind people when their service is due?
Yes. Add the last service date and the kilometres, then send service reminders to the customers who are due. Each one names their car and when it was last in.
Start with the customers you already have.
Add a few customers, pick what to send, and send it.
